Accepting PayPal

Accept payments from customers worldwide using PayPal directly on your website through the Bridge Pay checkout popup.

When a customer checks out on your store using PayPal:

  • Seamless Popup Experience: Clicking PayPal opens a secure checkout window where the customer approves the payment.
  • Direct Payouts: Bridge Pay never holds, touches, or delays your money. All customer payments transfer immediately into your own PayPal account balance.
  • Zero Platform Fees: Bridge Pay takes 0% transaction fees from your customer sales. You keep all your revenue, subject only to PayPal’s standard merchant processing fees.
  • Automatic Instant Provisioning: As soon as payment is confirmed, the customer’s IPTV credentials are generated and displayed on screen, and saved to their browser’s local storage.

Connecting your PayPal account takes less than 2 minutes:

  1. Log in to your Bridge Pay dashboard at https://app.bridgepay.store.
  2. From the left sidebar, click Settings.
  3. Locate the PayPal Settings card.
  1. In the Live Environment tab, enter your primary PayPal Email Address (the email address linked to your PayPal account that receives payments).
  2. Ensure the toggle Accept PayPal is switched ON.
  3. Click Save Payments Settings.

Your checkout popup will now offer PayPal as an active payment method on all your active store domains.

Before accepting real payments from customers, you can safely test the entire purchase and fulfillment process using PayPal’s sandbox environment:

  1. In your Bridge Pay Settings, switch to the Sandbox Environment tab.
  2. Enter your PayPal Sandbox merchant email (created in your PayPal Developer Dashboard).
  3. Open the domain you want to test from your Domains list.
  4. Turn ON the switch: PayPal Sandbox.
  5. Save settings.
  6. Open your store website and complete a test purchase using a PayPal Sandbox buyer account. No real money will be charged.

Once you confirm everything works properly, remember to turn OFF PayPal Sandbox on your domain to accept real customer payments.

Account Requirements & Supported Currencies

Section titled “Account Requirements & Supported Currencies”
  • Personal vs. Business Accounts:
    • Standard PayPal checkout works with both Personal and Business PayPal accounts.
    • (Note: If you later wish to accept direct credit and debit cards on the Pro Plan without buyers needing a PayPal account, a verified PayPal Business Account is required. See the Credit Cards Guide).
  • Supported Currencies:
    • Bridge Pay supports creating plans in all major PayPal currencies, including USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, and many others.
    • When setting up plans in your domain dashboard, select the currency that matches your target audience or PayPal primary balance currency.

To ensure your PayPal account remains healthy and avoids holds or restrictions:

  • Customer Support: Provide prompt customer service via WhatsApp, Telegram, or Email to resolve customer questions before they consider filing disputes. See the Account Safety Guide for comprehensive protection tips.
  • Order ID Tracking: Every transaction includes a unique 10-character Order ID in the customer’s PayPal transaction summary under Order Summary, allowing both you and your customer to trace any purchase instantly. See the Order Recovery Guide.
