Referral Program

Bridge Pay includes a built-in referral and affiliate rewards program. Merchants can share their unique referral code with other sellers to earn referral credits that can be redeemed for free subscription months, while new sellers receive discounts on their domain subscription plans.

How the Referral System Works

The referral flow connects two sellers:

1. Referrer (Code Owner): The seller sharing their unique referral code. Every time a new domain completes a paid subscription using this code, the referrer receives 1 referral credit.
2. Redeemer (Buyer): The merchant purchasing a domain subscription plan who applies the referral code to receive an immediate discount.

Finding Your Referral Code and Credits

Every merchant account is automatically assigned a unique 8-character referral code upon registration.

To view your code and credit balance:

1. Open your Dashboard and navigate to Settings.
2. Locate the Referral Program section.
3. You will see:
   • Your Referral Code: Click the copy icon to copy your code to your clipboard.
   • Available Credits: The total number of referral credits earned by your account.

Discounts for Buyers (Redeemers)

When subscribing to a domain plan, a seller can apply a referral code during checkout to receive a discount:

• 1 Month Plan: 10% discount off the monthly price.
• 12 Month Plan: 5% additional discount off the yearly bundle price (which already includes 12 months for the price of 10).

Referral Code Rules & Limits

• One Lifetime Referral per Domain: A domain can only consume a referral code once in its entire lifetime. Once a domain completes a subscription with a referral code, it cannot use any referral code again in the future.
• Domain Limit Persistence: The lifetime limit is tied permanently to the domain name. Deleting and re-registering a domain does not reset or bypass this limit.
• Multiple Domains per Account: A seller may use the same referral code across multiple different domains they own (e.g., using a code on example1.com and then on example2.com).
• No Self-Referral: A seller cannot apply their own referral code to domains under their account.
• Case-Insensitive: Referral codes are case-insensitive and can be entered in uppercase or lowercase.

Earning and Redeeming Credits

Earning Credits

Whenever a merchant subscribes a domain plan using your referral code (and the payment is verified on-chain or activated), your account is credited with 1 referral credit.

There is no limit to the number of referral credits you can earn.

Redeeming Credits for Free Subscriptions

You can spend your accumulated referral credits to extend your domain subscriptions for free without making crypto payments:

• Basic Plan: 1 credit = 1 free month.
• Pro Plan: 2 credits = 1 free month.

How to Claim Credits

1. Navigate to your Domains list in the dashboard and select your domain.
2. If you have available credits, click the Use Credits button next to the payment controls.
3. In the dialog, choose how many months you wish to claim. The interface displays the required credits and the resulting extension period.
4. Click Claim Subscription to apply the free extension immediately to your domain.
